31 October 2006

Due to a chemistry test at 19 hrs on Tuesday and a calculus test at 9 hrs on Weds, not to mention an Autocad project due at 24hrs Fri and a Lit paper due sometime on Thurs, I'm a tad rushed for time. Can probably get Weds' comic done later on Weds. Can't wait until Friday so this mad week can be over.
So let's say that Weds comic will be done by noon on Weds? (-6 GMT)

Apparently IofM was on Life Technology for a short time; at least until they realized it was a webcomic and not a resource on metaphysics. (hehehe) Pity it's not still there.

29 October 2006

Bearded guy is the HEX100 prof, Smithson. I meant to put that in the comic. oops.
Sorry about the backgrounds, again.

26 October 2006

Fri, 27 Oct's Comic:
Lotsa text. Didn't proofread it much.
Spelled "disappeared" wrong.
The shame.

Whaddya think of my little "origin of the vampire?"
Whacked, no?
Alright, there we go.
One of the comics this weekend may be dropped in light of a bunch of tests next week, but we'll see.

25 October 2006

Dunno what's up with Autokeen.
I'll work with it later.
for now, go to:
here
to view Weds's comic.

24 October 2006

1. Back on the regular sched: SMWFS
2. Halloween Wallpaper featuring Cironh being hot.
3. 1st "major" story arc began Mon.
4. Updated "Cast" for all major char.
5. Updated "Archives" to prev. story arc.

Weds 25 Oct's comic:
The star-shaped scars are supposed to be scars from bullet wounds. My roommate-whose-dad's-a-dr says that bullet wounds don't look like that. My bad.
On another note, I haven't done nearly enough research into Egyptology which, as you can see, will make up most of the next comic, so all you Ancient Egypt buffs, suimasen.
I will use this excuse, which I will then probably proceed to use for the entirety of this webcomic:
Alt. Universe!
:P

23 October 2006

While Lila is winning in the polls, I hadn't planned on making an Oct wallpaper until I realized I wasn't going to be able to have a Halloween comic that would still be in continuum. So... Halloween wallpaper. kinda
Cironh is pretty gothy and she hasn't gotten any screen-time lately, which is why the wallpaper features her. She is an engineer-magicks major, focusing more on technology. Or more appropriately, a tech-wiz. She is featured with her "babies:" her laptop and her vacuum.

22 October 2006

What's up with this comic?!
First it was the thing with Rah's past, and then it was the thing with Nathan being a werewolf but not, and now this thing with Chris and the ... something! Why won't it tell us what's going on?!

If that's how you're feeling, don't worry. Everything will be answered eventually, and we'll continue quickly with Chris' ... whatever was going on in this strip.
Oh, btw:
This story arc is "Cue the Drama."
And it means it. Lotsa stuffs are going to start happening, and that leaves no room for a Halloween strip. *sad*
But things are really going to start moving in the Institute.

Updated cast and archives, but the cast wasn't really updated all that much. It's just a main characters' list, missing Reverend Jared Jedidiah, Nathan's mentor in 22 Oct's strip. (I love that name.)

20 October 2006

And with that, midterm week draws itself to a close.
Nathan really does make a strange werewolf, doesn't he?
klin

16 October 2006

I know nothing about bars, so Deco's may change a bit. You'll just have to pretend you don't notice it.
Yes, I am a college student.
sheesh.

15 October 2006

I have the worst luck in updating on time. Fri and Sat, Autokeen just didn't like me. Sun, I named the comic wrong AND woke up late. ::sigh::
Anyway, today. We're starting to get into some plot, but not really. What Nathan practically asked is, "Why does Rah have a beard?"
If you can't read Rah's shirt:
Structural Magiks & engineering
because floating buildings are cool.

Schedule is still:
Mon/Tues/Thurs/Fri/Sat/Sun
and then we'll be back on regular schedule

13 October 2006

Ack, ok. The late comic was not my fault this time. Autokeen wasn't updating it, and I was up 'til 1 trying to figure out why. Gave up, went to sleep. Tried again this morning.
I was going to leave this comic line art. I'm glad I decided to color it afterall. The shading doesn't look too bad.
Schedule to make up for my non-updateness:
Sat/Sun/Mon/Tues/Thurs/Fri/Sat

08 October 2006

I am now seeing a flaw in my "home-for-the-weekend" plan. My scanner is about 2 hours north of here, and not operating a tablet in .5 of a year is a bitch.
Sooo... schedule for the next two week due to 2 full weekends in a row, a paper, and a CAD design project:
(maybe)Mon/Tues/Fri/Sat/
Sun/Mon/Tues/Thurs/Fri/Sat

06 October 2006

Gomen ne...
I went home this weekend and:
a) spent all Thurs packing up stuff I don't use in the dorm.
b) scribbled out a few panels for Fri's comic, but they sucked
c) my parents rock and surprised me with a tablet!!!!!!!! (playing with it now)

Soo... the wallpaper will probably be free, every 2 months or something...

Tablet!!

There will be a comic Sat

04 October 2006

Woo! Ranked 799/(over 7000)on thewebcomiclist. Triple digits, baby.
Eheh. 'hem.

Fun facts about Oct 04's comic:
Patian wasn't supposed to be:
a) wearing something that skimpy. Ever.
b) a bariste.
c) in this comic.

03 October 2006

Sorry 'bout the absence of an actual IofM comic on Mon. My comparative world lit midterm consisted of 2 full essays and 6 quotes you had to identify and then explain. And then I just took my chem midterm. :: shudder ::

Hm. I wonder what Nathan just found in his drawer?

The pace should start rolling pretty soon. Hopefully.
The problem is, this stuff should all have happened late August. I'm hoping to align IofM with our chronology by omitting first half-a-term. Hence, midterm for them will be next week.
And they will know what suffering is.
Mwahahaha... cough.

02 October 2006

This week's schedule:
W/T/F/S/S
Midterms are inconveniently clumped together.
